Perkasie Mayor, John Hollenbach, has declared November 2023 as "No Razor November" for all who serve in the Perkasie Borough Police Department. Many of Perkasie's officers are choosing to forgo shaving & grooming for the month and look like "western-movie villains or grizzly bears" (yes, a quote from Perkasie's Mayor!). Once the month is over, officers will be expected to once again conform to the PD policy of having a clean-shaven face.
Members of the community are invited to make a donation to Pennridge RamPacks in support of Perkasie's Police Officers and No Razor November. Pennridge RamPacks is a local non-profit organization that provides free meals for hungry children in the Pennridge community. All donations through their website go directly to students who are experiencing food insecurity at all Pennridge Schools.
