Membership Information | DEFINITIONSNon Resident: A person that does not live within the
limits of the Borough of Perkasie. While many households do have a
Perkasie mailing address, to qualify for a resident membership, you must live
within the Borough limits. This is because residents of the Borough of
Perkasie pay local taxes that contribute to the maintenance of the entire park
system. A portion of the excess revenue from electric sales to Borough
residents & businesses funds the debt service of this facility. Because
residents already contribute to the facility (as described above) and Borough
Council wants to encourage use by members of the community, they have elected to
give a discounted rate to residents.
