They will also be amazed as the Mad Scientist uses science to melt the “Wicked Witch of the West” right before their eyes. Next, the children will learn about static electricity from demonstrations with a Van de Graff generator. One of the children will even get to touch the Van de Graff for a ‘hair raising” experience. The event is rounded off with a few dry ice demonstrations and our popular Swoosh, Whoosh, Aaaah demonstration for all to enjoy! Hear the tales of Count Eggbert and Countess Eggberta as they battle the wicked witch. Watch as the wicked witch is melted right before your eyes! Then, as a grand finale, the Mad Scientist will introduce the audience to the eerie world of dry ice, making bubbling potions and lots of fearsome fog. All will have an evening of gruesome goodness and fun! November 12, 2010 | FAMILY BINGO NIGHT | Pennridge High School Cafeteria Everyone loves BINGO! Come out and enjoy a fun night with your family. How Santa fits so much into his sack and how he magically enters your house is some of the things that are demonstrated and explained. Eric makes it a White Christmas complete with snow. January 14, 2011 | COOL BEANS BAND | Pennridge High School Cafeteria Based in Bucks County, Steve Pullara is a New Jersey-born singer-songwriter-artist whose musical roots are rich with family inspiration and cultural traditions. Kids and parents warm up quickly to Steve's good natured and energetic stage performances. In concert, his entertaining mix of drawing and singing provides a diversity that makes his tunes very appealing to a wide variety of audiences. February 11, 2011 | MAD SCIENCE: "SPIN, POP, BOOM" | Pennridge High School Cafeteria Designed to introduce science to elementary age children. In it, the Mad Scientist will use simple but exciting science experiments and demonstrations to involve your group in the discovery process of science. Included in the event will be such experiments as the "Growing Hand", "5 Test Tube Salute", the "Famous, Flaming Didgeridoo" and the "Fantastic Flying Foam Factory". ALL TICKET PURCHASES ARE NON-REFUNDABLE. If you are interested in tickets, but Perkasie Borough is not convenient to your location, you may call the Pennsylvania Recreation & Parks Society at 1-814-234-4272 to order tickets and have them mailed to you. There is a one dollar handling fee for this service. The ducks will race to the "Twin Fall FestivalOctober 3, 2010 from 12pm to 5pm at Menlo Park Creek SweepFirst annual Creek Sweep. Looking for community service in your area? This event is open to all individuals and groups in and around the community who want to help clean our parks. this event would be held in June 2010. Our goal would be to clean up Lenape Park and the creek. At the end of the Creek Sweep we would hold a picnic lunch with a massive kickball game for all volunteers.
