NOTICE FOR REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS – ENGINEERING & DESIGN CONSULTATION SERVICES FOR THE SOUTH PERKASIE BOROUGH COVERED TIMBER BRIDGE - BID EXTENDED

The Borough of Perkasie located at 620 West Chestnut Street, Perkasie, PA 18944, has extended the deadline to receive contract proposals online until 11:00 A.M., prevailing time on August 20, 2024 for engineering and design consultation services for the rehabilitation of a historic timber covered bridge located in Lenape Park in Perkasie Borough. Companies submitting proposals must have demonstrated experience of said services.

All Proposal Documents and solicitation details are available at no cost on the PennBid™ website at https://pennbid.bonfirehub.com/opportunities/143986.  A nominal fee of 0.33% of the proposal amount (up to $5,000) is assessed by PennBid™ only to proposers awarded contracts.

A virtual pre-proposal conference will be held at 10:00 A.M. local time on August 5, 2024. Representatives of Owner will be present to discuss the Project. Proposers are asked to attend and encouraged to participate in the conference call. The link for the conference on Zoom is https://us02web.zoom.us/j/86967263076.

A video replay of the virtual pre-proposal conference will be made available to registered attendees and also on PennBid.

Each proposal shall be submitted in accordance with the Request for Proposal.

Perkasie Borough reserves the right to waive any formalities or irregularities, and also reserves the right to reject any and all RFPs for any reason or no reason.

Sealed proposals for Perkasie Borough Bid Proposal #2024-09 will be received by the Borough of Perkasie at Borough Hall, 620 West Chestnut Street, Perkasie, PA, until 10:00 A.M. on July 31, 2024 for Commingled Recyclable Materials (picked-up and delivered).

Bid #2024-09 - Commingled Recyclable Materials - Addendum One

Sealed proposals for Perkasie Borough Bid Proposal #2024-10 will be received by the Borough of Perkasie at Borough Hall, 620 West Chestnut Street, Perkasie, PA, until 10:30 am on July 31, 2024 for the disposal of Municipal Solid Waste.

Sealed proposals for Perkasie Borough Bid Proposal #2024-11 will be received by the Borough of Perkasie at Borough Hall, 620 West Chestnut Street, Perkasie, PA until 11:00 am on July 31, 2024 for the collection and disposal of municipal residential Leaf and Yard Waste.

Proposals must be made in duplicate on the regular bid forms and shall be sealed, properly identified and in the hands of the Borough Manager on or before the times specified.  

A certified check or bid bond in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the total contract is required.

The Borough reserves the right to reject any or all bids, or any items therein, and to waive any informality in bids received.
