PERKASIE BOROUGH PARKS & RECREATION ANNOUNCES 2026 SPECIALTY SUMMER CAMPS

One-Week Camps Highlight Science, Sports, Engineering, Outdoor Adventure, and Creative Arts

PERKASIE, PA — Perkasie Borough Parks & Recreation is pleased to announce its 2026 Specialty Summer Camp lineup, featuring a variety of one-week themed camps designed to keep children and teens active, engaged, and learning throughout the summer. Camps offer flexible scheduling options, including part-time morning, part-time afternoon, and full-day programs, and provide hands-on experiences that encourage creativity, teamwork, problem-solving, and fun in a safe and supportive environment.

The 2026 specialty camps provide options across multiple interest areas, allowing families to choose programs that best fit their child’s age and interests.

 Science, Engineering & LEGO® Camps

STEM-focused camps combine hands-on learning with creativity and problem-solving. This year’s offerings include Nature Chemists, Eureka! Flight to the Future Science Camp, and a variety of LEGO® engineering camps such as Wizarding World of Engineering, Dino Design, Jurassic Engineering, Sports Lab, and Pro Sports Lab, each designed to introduce engineering and design concepts through imaginative themes.

 Outdoor Adventure & Challenge Camps

Campers who enjoy exploration and teamwork can participate in adventure-based programs like Escape the Camp and Wild Skills Camp, which focus on problem-solving, outdoor skills, and confidence-building through interactive challenges and nature-based activities.

 Sports & Skill-Building Camps

Sports and skill-based camps emphasize physical activity, confidence, and sportsmanship in a fun, instructional setting. The 2026 lineup includes Basketball Camp, Multi-Sport Camp, and Archery Camp, giving participants opportunities to develop fundamental athletic skills, learn proper technique and safety, and try new activities throughout the week.

 Creative & Performing Arts Camps

Performing arts camps offer campers the opportunity to explore creativity, collaboration, and self-expression through theater. The 2026 lineup includes Creative Theater Camp, now in its 16th season at Menlo Park, along with Enhanced Theater Camps featuring themed productions such as A Gilbert and Sullivan Mash-Up and Robin Hood. Campers work together to create and perform an original theatrical production, with each session concluding in a live performance for family and friends.

All specialty camps are one-week programs, typically running Monday through Friday, and are led by experienced instructors and partner organizations. Registration opens February 1, 2026, and space is limited. Camps are open to residents and non-residents.
