PERKASIE BOROUGH CONDEMNS 42 S. 8TH STREET FOLLOWING EXTENDED EFFORTS TO ADDRESS SERIOUS SAFETY CONCERNS

Perkasie, PA – On September 14, 2026, Perkasie Borough determined that the building located at 42 S. 8th Street was unsafe and unfit for human occupancy and issued a condemnation order to protect the health and safety of its residents. While the Borough was ultimately required to condemn the property to protect public safety, officials worked for weeks with Bucks County Human Services and other partner agencies to provide advance notice, housing resources, and relocation assistance to affected residents.
